Segment Notes: |
|
This segment is used to identify the line item on which a quality test is being made. If Global Trade Item Numbers are available it is mandatory to use GTIN within the LIN segment. The detail section of the quality message is formed by a repeating group of segments, always starting with the LIN segment. Each occurrence of LIN will usually correspond to a different item for which test results are being provided.
Example: LIN+1++5412345111115:SRV'
Dependency Notes: C829 is only used when sub-lines are required. FOR A MORE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION ON THE USAGE OF SUB-LINES PLEASE REFER TO PART I, SECTION 4.10. |
